The Amazon/Whole Foods deal set to close August 28th. What does this mean to you?

The deal involving the Grocery store chain and the online sales giant will come to a close this upcoming Monday August 28th. It will definitely be interesting to see exactly what influence Amazon will have in the grocery store chain. Will there be more than typical grocery store items in Whole Foods? Will we see a greater Whole Foods like experience in Amazon Fresh?

In an effort to make Whole Foods quality products affordable to more people, Whole Foods will lower their prices starting Monday. Amazon Prime will also be integrated into Whole Foods point of sale systems, enabling Amazon Prime members to get discounts on various products in Whole Foods.

It will definitely be very interesting what other grocery stores like Trader Joe’s, Kroger’s, etc. Also, it would be very interesting to see what Amazon will do next with respect to acquisitions.
