Apple skips the 7s, heads straight for the iPhone 8

In the year marking the 10th anniversary of the iPhone,. Apple has launched the iPhone 8 to take the place of the iPhone 7s. The 8 and the 8 plus will look similar to the iPhone 7 and 7 plus, but with updated internals.

Both 8 models will run the A11 Bionic six core 64bit chip. Cameras will also be updated on the models with the iPhone 8 having a new 12MP lens with optical image stabilization, and and the 8 plus sensor pair coming with f/1.8 and f/2.8 sensors.

Storage wise will give customers two size options at 64 and 256gb, and will start at $699 for the iPhone 8 and $799 for the 8 plus.
